I have an HP All-In-One 24-f1047c.
The microphone is the only part not working on my PC since some recent updates were pushed. I don't know if that Microsoft or HP updates, to be honest. The headphone portion of my headset works fine, but the Microphone portion is essentially not picking up anything about 3% for normal talking. I have been using my Bluetooth Headset on this computer, and it works just fine. So, either there is a physical problem with the port on the back of the unit (I essentially had the same headset plugged in for a year, I honestly do not unplug it very often)...OR...there is some kind of a driver issue that is impacting the gain of the microphone? I am not sure, but I noticed that many people seem to be having the same issue at the same time. That tells me it's probably a recent driver update.

I installed a driver package from RealTek and after the 1st reboot, the microphone was temporarily working. Then the process went through another round of driver installation, I'm not sure why. After that, it stopped working. I will try uninstalling all of the microphone drivers and see what happens.
