Hello,
( Env: W10
HP desktop PC Phoenix h9-1210ef Bios 7.14
Beats Audio
Logitech Z200 speakers )
Following a serious technical problem (blue screen !!) I had to reinstall W10 Family 22H2 but I no longer have sound !!
I have small logitech speakers connected to the sound jack plug behind the pc (round plug) I of course had sound before reinstalling W10.
1) When I go to the device manager, I have:
> In Sound, video and game controllers
> AMD High Definition Audio
a) Note: In properties, it shows me "This device is working correctly"
b) When I update the driver, it shows me that the best driver is already installed..."
2) and when I go to SETTINGS/system/sound, I have:
>SOUND
>Output
No output device was found!!!???
and in main volume:
I no longer have access to the cursor
(speaker with a cross on the left) (on the right: 0)
I do troubleshooting, it shows me "What devices do you want to troubleshoot" and shows me a list "AMD digital output - High definition Audio device the connector for this device is on the HDMI connector" ??? while I do not have an HDMI connection on my PC ???? I do not don't understand anything!!!
and of course in the taskbar at the bottom right, I have the speaker icon with a white cross on a red circle and when I hover over it, it shows me "No audio output device is enabled"
Notes:
1) Is it a generic W10 sound driver that it installs because when I bought my speakers, I don't remember which driver was installed..., I connected them directly (they are Plug and play) and it worked.
of course I tried my speakers on another PC, they work very well!! I connected them directly and as I said, they must use a generic sound driver??
2/ or Is it the sound card driver??? Beats Audio
I went to your site to look for drivers, it tells me that for the PC I have, I have to look for the equivalent in the HP Pavilion...but it shows me "No drivers available.."
Could you help me please, I don't really know what to do anymore! :-(( because I've been racking my brains for almost a week with this very very weird problem!!! 😞 :?:
Thank you VERY MUCH ;-))

Hi:
You probably need to install the W10 IDT audio driver.
Tempo High-Definition Audio Driver (Original IDT)
6.10.6504.0
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.exe
Restart the PC after installing the driver.
