i installed windows 10 pro to a former windows7 the sound is not working.
i tried different issues without success

Hi:
What I did for my dc7800 and dc7900 PC's which both use the same audio chip, was to install the Soundmax W7 driver from the support page.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45501-46000/sp45615.exe
Restart the PC.
Then enable the multi-streaming option in the control panel > Hardware & Sound > SoundMax AudioESP.
Then go into the control panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices and select the PC speaker.
You will also now have the recording tab.
