800 Elitedesk G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have HP 800 Elitedesk G1 Tower. It came with 8GB of RAM (2) 4GB sticks. Wanted to upgrade to 32GB (max), so i ordered (4) 8GB sticks from Crucial. I could get 1 to work, but it wouldn't see the other 3. When more than 1 was in, would get 1 long beep on bootup. Contacted Crucial, they had me clear CMOS by pulling battery. Now, it won't boot up at all. Only getting 1 long beep whether I have 1 or more in. Put the RAM in different slots, but No Joy. Went back to original RAM, but still only getting 1 long beep upon bootup. Have wireless keyboard, and can't get into BIOS. Will pick up USB keyboard tomorrow.

Any suggestions?

Usually, "one beep" means that the POST (Power On Self Test) has completed, without incident.

Put in a new CMOS battery.

Borrow/purchase a USB keyboard.

Use the keyboard to enter BIOS SETUP.

Reset the date/time, and ensure that the disk-drive is listed as an eligible "bootable" device.

Save/Exit from BIOS SETUP.

It should now boot from the disk-drive.
