Product: DC7900 sff
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I would like to know what BIOS version is required on a DC7900 system with E6300 processor so that 1801-Microcode Update Error does not appear at startup. Currently the BIOS version is 786G1 v01.27. Thank you!

Below is the link to the HP Quickspecs for the dc7900 model series.

The list of supported processors can be found on pages 9 & 10, and the E6300 is not one of them.
That is why you are getting the microcode error and there is nothing you can do to fix it other than to install one of the supported processors listed.
