Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a All in One m odel 24-b010a that on powe ron returns 2 long beeps followed by two short beeps.

I cannot access BIOS, I have tried to use Windows Key and B on keyboard whilst holding the power button for 2 to 3 seconds but get same result.

Can any help?

You could look here for an idea.

'optiplex' and 'precision' mentions the same codes, beeps, that you hear.

I agree with you MayS   🙂  I should looked up the model.

It seems to be a HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-b010a

If so, the error codes should be here. https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05138222

This link you provided is for a Dell. My all in one is a HP.

Other items I have found points to a bios corruption. Was hoping for a possible solution to correct bios issue, I suspect that the device is good for recycling only

Hmm, that's weird? It's linking to a HP computer for me.

And the error codes for the one I linked to should then be here

"Identify the desktop light or beep code"

as with this one

But yes, the first one was about Dell, don't blame me though, I'm sure we can find someone else to blame, if we  just try  🙂

The browser?

Happy to blame the browser

Thanks for the links.

Unfortunately I have tried thos options.

Any idea how to flash the bios in this situation?

You could look at this, and try the same procedure

Make sure to disconnect 'everything' that may deliver 'juice' though.

Then there seem to exist something called HP " Sure Start Recovery ", which I admittedly know less than nothing about. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06191768

Otherwise?
