Hi @Rafy9344,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP 20-b010 was previously able to access the internet using a cellular phone. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing the issue and how to reconnect using a mobile phone.

Confirm the connection method used earlier
Most HP 20-b010 systems use USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot from a phone.
Bluetooth tethering is less common and usually slower.

Check mobile data on the phone
Make sure mobile data is turned ON on the phone.
Without mobile data, tethering will connect but no internet will pass through.

Enable USB tethering (USB method)
Connect the phone to the HP 20-b010 using a USB cable.
On the phone, go to Settings → Network/Connections → Hotspot & Tethering → USB tethering and turn it ON.

Enable Wi-Fi hotspot (Wi-Fi method)
On the phone, turn on Mobile Hotspot.
On the HP 20-b010, open Wi-Fi settings and connect to the phone’s hotspot network using the password shown on the phone.

Check network status on the HP 20-b010
On the computer, confirm the network shows Connected and not “No Internet”.
Open a browser and test by loading a simple website.

Try a different USB cable or USB port (USB tethering)
Some cables only support charging and not data.
Switch to another USB port on the HP 20-b010 if available.

Restart both devices
Restart the phone and the HP 20-b010.
This clears network services and restores tethering detection.

Check Network Adapter status
On the HP 20-b010, open Device Manager → Network adapters.
Look for a mobile or USB network adapter and confirm there are no warning icons.

Disable and re-enable the network connection
Open Network settings → Change adapter options.
Disable the active connection briefly, then enable it again.

Confirm carrier restrictions
Some mobile carriers limit or block tethering.
Check that your data plan allows hotspot or USB tethering.

I hope this helps.
