Dear Hp people.
So my computer would not turn on, and when I tried it was just a black screen with 3 Long beeps and 4 short beeps. Called for support and was told I would have to pay for repairs. It was a hardware failure and repair was my only option. Was also told they could not back up the computer (I run a business from this computer, my livelyhood is on there. I Have 6 kids and a farm, so that was devastating, NOT TO MENTION MY EMPLOYEES it would have effected) and I would lose it all. Went to YouTube to see if I could fix it myself. 😳 Yeah the fix was unplugging the power cord from the back of the computer and then plugging it right back in. Computer fired right up. Hp should be ashamed for treating people this way just to make a dollar. Be Better!
Sincerely,
Your pissed off customer
Jess

Hi
sorry for that
but here is not exactly where to complain, the people concerned will not read this
But, in relation to your problem
this restarted, ok, but watch out, it could start again
an hp document mentions this:
Red light flash three times, then four times, then short white light flash
This indicates a potential power system failure.
Reduce to the minimum configuration (CPU, System board, PSU, 1 memory DIMM), then isolate the failing component.
Reduce further if the incident persists.
Test your system using a known valid power supply.
Contact HP Customer Support for further assistance in replacing the component, motherboard, processor (CPU), or power supply if the problem persists.
or this
Hardware | 3.4 | The system board displays a power failure (crowbar).* | Indicates potential power system failure.

If you ever need, come and ask here, someone can tell you, how to try to recover your personal data
in the meantime, thought about making backups on external usb drives, or other external support
