I want to connect 350w Power Supply to old 160 w Motherboard. Is this OK, or do I need to also upgrade motherboard?

Hi,

This is OK as the motherboard will only use the power it needs. Actually the more Watt the power supply has the less stress will be put on it.

I can use a 1200W power supply with a system which only use 110W. So there is no problem.

Hope it helps,

David
