OMEN by HP - 17-an155na

After complete normal use last night, I woke up to my laptop running into a boot issue. The error message is one that seems to be common among other HP users, however the general solutions given in troubleshooting and tutorial videos are not working for me.

I get the black screen error message:

"Boot Device Not Found

Please install an operating system on your hard disk

Hard disk - (3F0)

F2 System Diagnostics

For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup"

I have tried enabling Legacy Support in the F10>SystemConfiguration>BootOptions>LegacySupport>Enabled

As this was a common fix for others with this issue.

By enabling this and saving, the reboot then seems to progress slightly further by progressing past a black screen to show briefly the HP Omen symbol (which usually appears on starting the machine) but then I encounter the same error message.

I have also ran the Memory Test and extensive Hard Drive Check found in the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI, both of which passed with no problems showing.

In the startup menu, I am wondering whether HP SpareKey (F7) or System Recovery (F11) would be my next try at rebooting but I'm not technically savvy enough to know if they are more related to factory resets.

If anyone has encountered similar or would know how to shed some light on this, please let me know.

EDIT 1 (17:31 GMT 9/1/23)

After having my laptop off for around 24 hours, I decided to give it a go at around 1700 hrs GMT and it booted like normal. While I was able to, I took up some advice from a solution to this problem and that was to download the latest IRST drivers. I went and installed the newest drivers and when I restarted my computer, I then got the boot error message. Starting to wonder if there are some corrupt files or something within the boot up program. I'm regretting getting the new drivers now.
