Hi @Landlord141,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you're encountering a 3F3 error during the boot process and are unable to access the BIOS, there are several steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Hard Reset the PC:

  • Shut down your computer.
  • Disconnect all peripherals, including USB devices andthe  power adapter.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and attempt to restart the PC.

Clear CMOS/Reset BIOS:

  • Turn off the computer.
  • Open the computer case and locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard.
  • Carefully remove the CMOS battery.
  • Wait for about 5-10 minutes before reinserting the battery.
  • This process will reset the BIOS settings, which may help in resolving the error.

Attempt Boot Menu Access:

  • Immediately upon powering up the computer, start tapping the ESC key repeatedly.
  • From the startup menu, you might have the option to access BIOS by pressing the F10 key.

Check for Update:

  • If by any chance you gain access to BIOS, check for system BIOS updates on the HP support site for your specific model.

Use Recovery Options:

  • If you have recovery media or a Windows installation USB, boot from that device. Some recovery options might be available once booted.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
