Hi,

Good afternoon.

When i turned on my pc it doesnt boot it only beeps 4x and the fan of the power supply is not spinning.

I think the motherboard is dead. I disconnect the Hard drive and the CD ROM (i think their not receiving any power, the HDD is not spinning also the CD ROM it doesnt open). I tried to disconnect the Memory still 4 beeps.

I've tested these.

Memory (it worked on other PC (the same specs, cause i have 2 same PC)

Power supply (it worked on other PC (the same specs, cause i have 2 same PC)

Motherboard (the green light is working )

GPU Built in (i dont know how to test it)

Thank you.

You can try resetting your BIOS. (it will change your time and date setting and will also change BOOT-UP setting to default)

i did that also by removing the cmos battery and resetting the cmos (by pushing the botton on the motherboard)

still 4 beeps.

Remove the power plug and press power button for 50 secs.

Can you remove the processor and try to start it again.(see if it still gives the BEEP)

Please also see if there are any bumps on capacitors of the motherboard

i also removed the processor and checks all the capacitor for any sign of leaks but theres none.

can you arrange external video card and try starting again.

sadly i dont have extra  video card here, if i replace the video card and nothing happens is it safe to say that the

motherboard is dead?

Sorry, but i think that is the only conclusion.
