Select a product I do not own

I own the Product however; its description has disappeared from the Product Name "list".

I just need the Post Codes please.

I don't understand what you mean by post codes.

@Paul_Tikkanen

Paul,

I believe Post Codes are a way Hardware Manufactures can alert PC Owners of some form of Hardware Error. These alerts are in the form of audible Beeps or LED's Flashing. the Beeps / Flashes are a Code that corresponds to a List of Codes supplied by the Hardware Manufacturer, in this case, Hewlett Packard. These Codes, while differing from manufacturer to manufacturer, originated with the original IBM PC. If I had the List for my HP 8300 CMT, I would be able to "diagnose" what might be preventing my PC from Booting. Does this explanation help you identify if there is a List of these Codes in the Forums Archives? If so, can you please refer me to it?

Mike

No. It was not helpful, but it was surprising. Having known Paul's Technical Reputation for several years, I'm amazed he doesn't know what Post Codes are. Could this be personal?

I'm not going to write anything further than to inform you that what you are referring to (which are called Post Error Messages, not post codes)  can be found in chapter 11 of the maintenance and service guide on your PC's user guides section that I posted yesterday, so I don't know why you wrote that my reply was not helpful.

All you needed to do was look.

I saw nothing wrong in my asking you what you meant by post codes, so if you took it personal, my apologies.

No, my apologies.

Thank you again for your expert help.

And again, you further educated me, and I appreciate it.
