When I power on my computer, the display shows:
AA fan is not operating correctly.
Continued operation of the computer is not recommended by HP and might cause unpredictable behavior that can result in a shutdown, data loss, or computer damage. The computer will shut down in 15 seconds. To prevent the shutdown and continue operation, press the Enter key now.

I followed the link but it was not helpful.
I had this problem a few months ago. I bought a new fan and everything seemed OK.
During the last week, when I powered on my computer, I received the message, and restarted my computer, and it came up OK.
Today, I did that but I just kept getting the error. I opened my computer and watched the fan at power on and it would turn about a quarter of the way and then stop.
I just now tried that again and, just before it powered down, the fan started spinning.
