@Neev-S -- do i have to format it through the storage manager or is it already formatted
When installing Windows, the Windows Installer will offer the option to delete all existing partitions on the disk-drive, and then the Installer will create a few partitions in the layout required by Windows.
So, if you "format" it, the Installer will "undo" all your formatting, and create a new layout of partitions.
> i wanted to move certain apps such as my web browser on to the drive, is it a simple drag and drop,
No. while you can drag-and-drop files from one disk-drive to another disk-drive, drag-and-drop will not work for apps. When you install any app, it puts files "everywhere" onto your disk-drive, and changes the Windows "Registry" to point to the locations of those files. You will _never_ manage to replicate that "install" process by finding/copying all of the changes that the installer has made.
It is so easy to install an app onto a new disk-drive, as compared to attempting to "copy" all the pieces of an app.
