Omni 120
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi evebody

The problem:

when turning off the PC, i have to wait min. 15 minutes before succeding to turn it on again.

no boot, no bios, no "error bip", nothing on the screen (but backlight ok), only the check of the fan and DVD player.

After long pressing the power button and waiting +/- 15 min., it boots normally ! No error message

No problem during working, nor blue or black screen, even during video encoding (so i don't think it's temperature issue)

Same thing when PC go into sleep mode. Sometimes it wakes up normally but often nothing happens, black screen.

Only solution > long press on power button to turn it off. And then, i have to wait +/- 15 min

I think i have tried all i have seen on the web !

No bios upgrade available

Win 10 up to date

HP update tools > nothing to install all is up to date

Extended hardware test > no problem

Windows Ram diag tool > extended test > no problem

Reset bios to default values

Test with another PSU > same issues

CR2032 battery > changed

I don't think it's a software issue, because it happens BEFORE bios, am i right ?

I fear it's more an hardware problem, but where ? motherboard ? RAM ? HDD ?

Any idea ?

Thanks a lot

Laurent
