Hi @raverycop

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern. Based on the troubleshooting you've already completed, the All-in-One PC is receiving at least some power because the fan briefly spins for about 2 seconds, but the system is not completing the startup process.

Please try the following:

Disconnect all external devices, including USB drives, printers, docking stations, and external monitors.

Perform a power reset:

  • Turn off the PC.
  • Disconnect the power cord.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord directly to a known working wall outlet.
  • Attempt to power on the PC.

Observe the power button, Caps Lock key (if present), or any LED indicators for blinking lights, and listen carefully for any beep patterns during startup.

If the system still only spins the fan briefly and then shuts off, inspect the power connection at the rear of the All-in-One to ensure it is fully seated.

If available on your model, press the power button repeatedly while tapping the Esc key to check whether the Startup Menu appears.

Since the fan starts briefly and then stops, the behavior can be related to a hardware protection event, power delivery issue, memory seating issue, or an internal component preventing normal startup.

If the PC remains completely unresponsive after the power reset, please share the exact HP All-in-One model number or product number so we can provide model-specific diagnostics and startup procedures.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
