Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-1020
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I want to add another nvme m.2 to my PC but it doesn't have 2 m.2 slots so I wanna buy a adapter that connects to pci-e x1 port and put a nvme on the adapter but I heard Boot to pci-e doesn't work on some PCs I want to know if it would work on mine I have a 2020 HP Tg01-1020

No, would be too slow. You need PCIe x3.
