It's entirely ridiculous that those options wouldn't be available on a gaming device in the first place.
Additionally, I wanted to contact support directly, since this pc was only bought a month ago, but its warranty is marked as expired, and the dispute form conveniently doesn't work. How nice.
I need instructions for accessing advanced bios options, please.

Hi @BMR613,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Accessing advanced BIOS options can vary depending on the motherboard and BIOS version used in the Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC. Here are general instructions that may help you access the advanced BIOS settings.
Restart your computer:
- Save any open files and restart your computer.
Access BIOS during boot:
- During the initial boot process, you need to press a specific key to enter the BIOS setup. Common keys include Del, F2, F10, Esc, or F12. The exact key may be mentioned on the screen during the boot process. If not, refer to your computer or motherboard's manual.
Accessing Advanced BIOS settings:
- Once you are in the BIOS setup utility, navigate through the menus using the arrow keys.
- Look for an option like "Advanced BIOS Features," "Advanced Chipset Configuration," or something similar. The wording may vary based on your motherboard.
Security Password:
- Some BIOS versions might have security features that prevent unauthorized access to advanced settings. If there is a password, you might need to enter it to access advanced options.
Update BIOS (if necessary):
- Check if there is a BIOS update available for your motherboard on the HP support website. Sometimes, updates unlock additional features or fix issues.
Keep in mind that accessing and modifying advanced BIOS settings requires caution, as incorrect changes could potentially harm your system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
