See if you can return the pair and get an identical 2666

if you still have the older 2666 use CPU-z to find the manufacturer and model and then google for a used part on ebay

I would google for the part number plus the letters "HP' to get an idea of what is available

Also, WMIC works instead of cpu-z as suggested by @NonSequitur777

 wmic memorychip get devicelocator, partnumber

then something like this

note that running at 2133 dual channel accesses almost 2x as much memory as single channel 2666 in the same clock cycles.

Obviously it is not running at 3200 but is still better than single channel 2666

I looked at the BIOS release information for your system and did not see any mention of XMP or advanced settings

In addition, the memory needs to have an XMP profile before the Advanced Menu (if any) will appear.  If you have XMP profile memory and the advanced menu does not show up AND you have the latest BIOS then you do not have support for XMP.

What memory did you have originally?  Slight differences in timing can mean the HP BIOS does not recognized the memory and drops the speed to a safe value such as 2133

A parts list for the 850-1000 series shows L40876-800 as the HP memory part number for 16gb

The app cpu-z can show defense's between the original memory and the new memory.

First time i had hyperx fury 16 gb 2666 mhz one channel and they stayed at that mhz, now i bought the corsair vengeance rgb pro 16 gb doual channel with 3200 mhz, but i know that this motherboard supports only 2666mhz and i knew that i can put this rams and set them at 2666 mhz, even if they are 3200 mhz. But i don t know how to put them at 2666 mhz without the xmp from bios, any advice? Because they stay now at 2133
