HP All-in-One - 24-e080na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As the title says, if the PC has been shut down, i often have to unplug the plug from the mains, wait a few seconds & re-insert it.  After unplugging & re-plugging, it works first time.  It doesn't always happen, sometimes powering up on the first attempt.

I have the PC plugged into an e-on power adaptor with an extension block with my external hard drives & a BD drive, that only powers the extension when the PC is powered.  When i'm experiencing the power problem, those hard drives & BD drive aren't being powered, suggesting that the PC's power block could be the problem.

I bought the PC pre-owned from a reputable store, & the power problem was present almost from the day i bought it, but by the time it first happened, i had already spent a few days getting all my files & software organised, so i decided to put up with it rather than getting a replacement. I'm sure it's only a problem with the PC's power cable, but does anyone else have any other suggestions?
