Hi, I am using hp desktop pro A G3 . I was trying to lock my rear end USB ports in bios. While  I was trying to do that I have accidentally locked all my USB  ports, both usb 2.0 in the rear side and 3.0 in the front. I tried to enter BIOS by using F10, but not able to enter the BIOS as  keyboard input is not working because of the locked usb ports. I have tried removing and reinserting the CMOS battery but it did not work and showed 503- checksum error.HOW DO I ENTER OR  RESET THE BIOS NOW WITHOUT KEYBOARD OR NON FUNCTIONAL USB PORTS!? PLS HELP. THANK YOU.

Some BIOS settings are stored in volatile memory, others in firmware.  Removing the CMOS battery and/or shorting the CMOS leads will clear the first set and reset them to defaults, but will do nothing to the second set.  The only fix for that is to completely replace the motherboard with a new one that has the default settings in the firmware.
