I have been reprimanded by Admin for trying to bypass security measures in attempting to gain access to my PC's BIOS.

Yes, I agree that it was exactly what happened but instead of just telling me I was doing something wrong, why not advise me how then to obtain the Administrator password to which I am legally entitled?
No information on this password was given to me when I purchased my PC som years ago and now, when I need to access BIOS, I am totally shut out.
All I want to know is what is my password so that I can continue with the work I need to do then I don't need to try other (illegal) methods. Can admin help me with this and help other HP users tool so that we can regain confidence in HP's products in future?
