790-0065qc Gaming PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Desktop Gaming PC 790-0065qc, Product I.D. 00325-81280-82260-AAOEM.  System on Startup has vertical bars running across screen (unusual) but boots ok and runs ok.  Checked BIOS version and needed latest update.  Existing version was 844c vf .22 and updated to 844c vf .30 but did not help.  Also BIOS Startup menu F2 for hardware diagnostics is not in English, rest of Bios is ok ( English ).

In my experience, vertical bars on the screen is a solid indication of a failing display -- as I had a Dell do this to me a while back -- and paying to get that fixed nearly always exceeds replacing the screen outright.  In my case, Dell wanted $350 to repair the monitor -- which I replaced with a new flat panel, for under $100.

I don't think this has anything at all to do with the BIOS.
