I've got an HP Compaq Pro 6300 SF from "scrapyard". It is an very solid computer, I've updated to win10pro, no problems. But now the problems:
1. In the machine is an BIOS - password. Nobody knows this password. Is it possible to clean it by using the PWRD - jumper on Mainboard? Or gives it an way to get an masterpassword from HP?
2. I wish to substitute the build in Intel pentium G2020 against an in my possession existing Intel Core i7-2600 (4x 3,4GHz), the CPU socket seems to be an 1155.
Therefore I need the documentation of motherboard, named as an imprint "Edison Rev ..." and in "HP Support Assistant" named as 339A with BIOS K01 v2.90. Has anybody an idea, from where I can get the documentation for this motherboard. In the HP support I didn't find anything. Thankyou.

Here is the support page for that PC
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-compaq-pro-6300-small-form-factor-pc/5232881/manuals
In the manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04034127
Table 3-4 on page 15, the password option are discussed.
On page 88 of that same manual are listed the CPU choices. The Intel Core i7-2600 is listed as an alternative, so it most likely will work.
I'm not an HP employee.
