Hi good evening.

I use desktop model HP290 G1 MT

  • When I power on it will not boot and I get 2 long beeps followed by 2 short beeps. Can anybody tell me the meaning if that beep code, many thanks.

BIOS                 2.2

The main area (DXE) of BIOS has become corrupted and there is no recovery binary image available.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to download the BIOS update from your PC's support page and see if you can make a bootable BIOS USB recovery drive.  Some files will allow for this.
