Hey everyone! I aquired a 24-b010 all in one touch desktop computer. Its in really nice shape, but when I connect the power and try to boot, I get the 5 cycles of beeps indicating error state. Mine is 2 long 2 short, repeated 5 times. From what I read, that's a BIOS error. I also read that it's fixable. What's the best way to go about this?

HP support video for bios recovery
Click here to see how to recover your BIOS.
Do 1, 2, and the first part of 3.
For the second part of 3 you will need a USB flash drive and possibly an
older BIOS if the recent BIOS caused the problem
For laptops, step 2 "CMOS reset" there is no cmos battery nor cmos switch and no need to open the laptop. Use the Windows key + 'v' as explained here.
According to the software list for your laptop, there are 4 different bios for your model but only one will work.
Unless you have a record of the "rom family ssid" you have a 1 out of 4 chance of getting the correct bios.
Go to the below site and enter your serial number
https://partsurfer.hp.com
See if you can find a code such as 82dc, 81b7, 81b9 or 81b8
To help identify which rom family the bios belongs to
