Just keep an eye on Windows Update because it will want to download and install v21H1 every chance it gets.

Thanks Paul, Windows 10 20h2 is installed and the accounting program runs (a little slow to boot up but then Windows seemed to be doing things in the background and it wasn't Windows Update)! Hopefully, it will stabilise soon. When I first login the Task Manager shows the CPU at 100%; it is now varying between 7% and 30%; plenty of memory available(60%) and disk at 0%.
