A black screen with a message “BIOS corruption has been detected. BIOS recovery will begin when computer is restarted....” it then goes black and the BIOS update screen appears. It will only ever get to 37% and then it stops and the screen goes black again. It will beep 8 times and show the first message again. This all keeps cycling through the same steps. I have tried a hard restart where I disconnect the power and hold the power button down for thirty seconds and reconnect power, but nothing changes. Please help! My graduate coursework depends on it!! Thanks in advance.
