Hi I am trying to use a usb flashdrive to install a new version of windows 10 but the option to load by flashdrive is not showing in the bios, I have changed secure boot to disable and legacy mode to enable but still there is no option to use my flash drive.
can you please advise

Welcome back to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Your PC shipped with Windows 8 from the factory. The introduction date of this product was in 2012. I am fuzzy on when HP included the USB boot option.
You also have a UEFI BIOS. You should be able to boot to USB media.
It is not a Secure boot issue if you are using bootable W10 USB media.
Tap "ESC" at boot.
Select the "Boot Menu". Do you see the flash drive as a boot source under UEFI Boot devices?
Did you prepare the W10 USB drive. Maybe the drive is not bootable or your PC cannot boot from USB. Can you test the USB stick on a different PC that you know will boot from USB?
You may have to go the DVD route to install W10.
