Good evening, on my HP 8100 Elite with i5 650, during a ram upgrade on reboot the pc froze at the hp gui screen. Then I proceeded to remove the ram module and reset bios via button on the motherboard. Since then, when I turn it on again, I no longer have the HP logo but an intermittent cursor after which a screen appears at the bottom right with the writing HP 8100 SFC, after a few more minutes the usual options F9, F10 etc. always appear at the bottom right. but it doesn't let me activate them (in the sense that if I click F9 on the keyboard it doesn't activate. Needless to say I tried again with other resets but I'm still at this point. Thanks for any suggestions.

Solved, to reset the bios you have to disconnect the keyboard and mouse, pressing the button alone was not enough.
