As stated before I'm currently on AMI 7.13 (9/28/2011), 3 versions before the latest available one - AMI 7.16 Rev.A (Feb 27, 2013), so those will not be the only fixes applied to my system.

If you have cupertino 2 motherboard then so58264.exe works. I had Mint running on my 3400. what do you mean by UEFI-only-OS ?

I mean that even if you build a USB medium for a TrueNAS Scale image with a MBR partition scheme (Legacy compliant) it still perform a GPT partition of the internal HDD, as TrueNAS seems to have dropped legacy support.
As my bios is not UEFI compliant I'm therefore unable to boot from the newly flashed disk.

I was unaware of TrueNAS. That looks interesting! I have several Synology system and was looking at "xpenology" which install on PC and can run Synology disk manager and all their apps supposedly.
If you can upload an ISO (or app) of the install I can try it on my Pro3400 with the "modded" bios and see if it boots up or runs. Post a link to it along with instructions.
Since you are at level 2 you can PM me instead of posting

To answer this question, as a rule of thumb, if you don't have an 8.xx version, no uefi
See the many threads about it here
so a version 7.13 or 7.16, should not change anything
Now, I don't know what you guys think @BeemerBiker , translation question, I can't follow everything you put in your thread..
The request was because you were able to install your version, and did I understand or not, a modified one, maybe?
I'm afraid we are at an impasse here, if the request is only in order to have a full UEFI ?

TrueNAS did not boot on PRO3400 but it did boot on Dell 7010
Check your PM for details
Main problem is as shown: No UEFI boot option for SATA under 7.16 even with that MOD that allowed GTX cards to work.
