Hi @Madcsm
The Victus 15L PCs are recent. Are you in warranty?
You have indicated a failed BIOS update with a checksum error in the subject. This sounds like the PC is cooked.
The body of the post suggests the PC runs fine until you shut down.
Is the PC now permanently locked at the 502 error (corrupt BIOS) or can you run Windows when you start or restart the PC?
I don't want to suggest anything until I know what is happening.
You might be able to fix the BIOS using a bootable USB BIOS recovery flash drive but I can't provide a BIOS file to create the recovery drive on a different PC without the specific HP Product Number.
I can't predict the source of the problem but you may also have a failing CR2032 MB battery, anything is possible, or you got a bad BIOS update from HP or Microsoft.
You may have to contact HP Support if a USB BIOS recovery drive option fails to fix the problem.
Regards
