Three days ago my system started requiring me to enter my BitLocker code to boot the system.  I ran all of the diagnostic programs and I still have the same problem.  Any advice the community might have would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings @NaughtyYoda

Your PC seems to be using BitLocker. I don't use BitLocker. And I don't use a Microsoft account.

Did your PC do a BIOS update prior to this problem?

Do you have the BitLocker recovery key or are you locked out of Windows?

The BitLocker recovery key may be stored on your Microsoft account.

A valid BitLocker recovery key may not work if your PC did a BIOS update and you did not turn off Device Encryption (BitLocker Lite) prior to doing the BIOS update.

You will lose access to: Windows and data stored on the system drive if you cannot decrypt the system drive.

You will have to reinstall Windows.

A HP Cloud recovery would be an option if your PC qualifies.

Regards
