Hi,
There is no five beep, pause, one beep BIOS error code at this HP Support site (Link). Maybe I am misinterpreting your error description. There are 5.2, or 5.3, or 5.3 BIOS errors. Look, I can't explain why updating to W11 would cause this problem.
It was smart to reset CMOS by removing the MB battery.
You seem to have a hardware problem after doing a Windows update.
Have you tried tapping "ESC" at startup to get to the BIOS? Your PC is toast if you cannot get to the BIOS. I have no idea why an operating system update would cause this issue.

Hi,
I cannot explain or troubleshoot this BIOS error code after a W11 update.
Maybe a different forum member has some thoughts.
I just don't know what has happened.
You may have to contact HP Support (Link) for warranty service, if applicable. Or have a local PC tech diagnose the problem.
Regards

hi
it depends on the models of the exact frequency
5 short beeps | BIOS recovery successful |
4, 5, 6, 7 | Fatal errors related to the operation of critical motherboard components - such as the CPU. |
5 | Failure while reading file |

namely what is a hard reset as mentioned here
Sometimes, according to what I have already seen, updating the bios, before installing windows 11
ie if this has been the case, and the computer has been turned off, at this time the bios has been corrupted, possible
The recovery of the bios, being difficult and uncertain, difficult to offer anything other than to go back to the guarantee, if possible
