Hi @Sharon62,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Envy All-in-One. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get it back up and running.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

Power Cycle the PC:

  • Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn the computer on.

Check the Monitor Connection:

  • Ensure the monitor cable is securely connected to the correct port on the back of the computer.
  • If you have another monitor or a TV with an HDMI input, try connecting your PC to that screen to see if you get any display.

Reset BIOS Settings:

  • Turn off the computer and then turn it on again.
  • Immediately press the F10 key repeatedly until the BIOS setup utility opens.
  • In the BIOS setup utility, reset the BIOS settings to default. Save the changes and exit.

Try a Different Keyboard/Mouse:

  • If possible, connect a wired USB keyboard and mouse to the computer and see if they work.
  • This can help in navigating the BIOS or boot menu if needed.

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • Turn off the computer and then turn it on again.
  • Immediately press the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
  • Select Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter.
  • If the computer boots into Safe Mode, you may be able to undo the recent update or perform a system restore.

Perform a System Restore:

  • If you can boot into Safe Mode, go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
  • Follow the prompts to restore your computer to a previous state before the update occurred.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue. Inspect the inside of the computer for any loose cables or components.
