- It's the HP 15-ba113dx
- I'm pretty sure I have Windows 11 downloaded to it and it had me do a bios scan and then it said updating please do not shut off and then the whole screen went black and has not come on since the windows b or Windows v or f2 don't work pulling the battery out and resetting it that please help!!
- Also I forgot to mention I took the bottom off and pulled the little battery as well but the fan stays running and when you hold the power button it'll go off and every once in a while the screen will get like a lighter black but it's only like a flash

Hi @Hayden97
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your HP laptop following a BIOS update. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can perform to attempt to resolve the issue:
Troubleshooting Steps:
Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the AC adapter.
- Remove the battery (if it's removable).
- Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter (but leave the battery disconnected if it was removable).
- Try to power the laptop back on.
BIOS Recovery:
- While the laptop is off, press and hold the Windows key along with the "B" key.
- While holding these keys, press and hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds.
- Release the power button while still holding the Windows and "B" keys.
- This should initiate a BIOS recovery feature if available.
External Monitor:
- Try connecting the laptop to an external monitor to see if the display issue is with the built-in screen or something more fundamental.
- If the external monitor displays something, you may need to check connections for the built-in display.
Check the Memory Modules:
- Turn off the laptop and disconnect AC power.
- Remove and reinstall the memory modules. Sometimes, reseating the RAM can resolve issues with booting up.
Access BIOS Directly:
- With the power off, turn on the laptop and immediately start tapping the F10 key repeatedly to try to access the BIOS setup.
