I have the all-in-one computer 8cc1040vs5 It won't load windows, The hard disk scans passed and I tried the bootrec /rebuildbcd method didn't work denied. Regback>copy *.* ..it also failed to copy windows stated it couldn't find the file. I was unable to reset or restore windows.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

The bluescreen error code you are seeing would, most likely, be a corrupted Windows Registry.

 

Microsoft shut down registry backups six or seven years ago.

 

You stated both System Restore and System Reset don't work when you are working in the WinRE.

 

I think you may have to do a clean Windows install. Back up data before you reinstall Windows.

 

But check this YouTube Windows Registry recovery video before reinstalling Windows.

 

I didn't watch the entire video yet. But I think the YouTuber figured out how to recover the registry even when there is no registry backup.
