Hello Everyone,
Please help if you can. In February I had the usual windows update and since then all I get is a dark blue screen. My mouse doesn't even show up on the screen. When I turn it on I get the HP logo and then dark blue. Since I can't get a screen I don't know how I can even run a system check. Any help will be appreciated.

@Georgia61, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Remove devices and perform a hard reset
To determine whether you need to contact HP or troubleshoot startup issues, perform a hard reset.
Turn off the computer.
Disconnect the AC adapter.
Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
Disconnect all nonessential devices such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 20 seconds.
Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.
Next, I suggest you perform a CMOS reset and the BIOS reset using the Key Combination by referring to this guide: HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) | HP® Support
Also, let me know what error you see on the blue screen. You may also refer to this guide: HP PCs - Error messages are displayed on a blue screen (Windows 11, 10) | undefined
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
