I recently noticed that my Windows started to behave incorrectly. I couldn't open photos or videos, and Windows would crash instead and restart. Tried to solve it, and I think I must've triggered the beast. Now I can't even start my computer.

I can't exactly retrace what I did in cmd and my settings but apparently it wasn't anything good.

Got the blue screen of death IMG_6297.jpg

Managed to get that out of the way by inserting Windows on a usb stick but instead I get this now

I have tried to look at troubleshooting and tried so much and I'm at a loss. (HD passed the test btw)

Greetings @Lynnerdo

Welcome to the HP Forum.

The system drive passed HP Hardware Diagnostics,

Did you check all hardware using extensive tests when running HP Hardware Diagnostics?

The Windows Bug Check you are seeing indicates a possible: thermal problem or a hardware problem up to a failing CPU.

You might be able to back up data on the system drive by connecting this drive (SATA or M.2) to a different PC as a data drive. Or use a USB to M.2/SATA adapter connected to a different PC to try to mount the system drive.

Maybe back up data to external media, if possible, and then try a clean Windows USB installation to see how things go.

A thermal/hardware problem exists if you can't install Windows.

Regards
