Product: HP 24yh 23.8-inch Display

HP desktop blue screen says boot device not found please install an operating system on your hard disk. I ran all the proper testing every thing passed. Tried YouTube typing in so many different things etc. My son uses things for gaming I have no clue what he did.

What do I do?

The model number posted is for the monitor, which would not be where the error is coming from.  If you have a HP computer also, then run the Diagnostics routine.

To run the Diagnostics routine, Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick Diagnostics from that popup menu, F2.

Report back with the results.
