Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

I got this computer in 2018. One day it stopped working and when i loaded it back up it left me with “boot device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk” and it says hard disk 3FO. Please help me, i’ve tried everything. Same thing happened to the the exact computer that one of my friends has. And i tried the BIOS default thing and nothing. It wont even let me run a storage test. If i click on it it stays for a second and dissapears.

edit: The computer is HP Stream 5MP95UA 14 inch Laptop Intel N3060 4GB 32GB eMMC Windows 10 S - Blue

Hello!

Press [ Esc ] when reboot.
Choose [ F2 ] Diagnostics, and check your storage: Storage / Quick Test

- When Storage not installed / not found - > Your SSD / motherboard is failure.
- When Storage / quick test show faiure - > Your SSD is go wrong.

- When Storage / quick test pass - > Maybe your operation system corrupted and need just reinstall.

When you need help and have available warranty, please send back to HP for repair your device.

Sadly i’ve tried everything and nothing is working. Im very confused on the storage teats however. Reason being that whenever i try a quick or extensive it runs for a second and just stops and brings me back to the diagnostic’s front page.  Memory test works, just not the storage tests.

I tried both storage tests and when I tried to start them and brought me back to the page I had previously been on. So could that mean something’s wrong with the storage?

Hi @Gamerboi610,

We are sorry that the issue is not resolved when the above troubleshooting steps were performed.

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue as this could be a hard drive issue.

When the issue is not your patience, yes. Probably your Storage is fault.
