Hi @Karabelo,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're seeing a "Boot Device Not Found" error on your HP PC it means your system is unable to detect the hard drive or SSD that contains your operating system. This can be caused by a variety of issues, from BIOS misconfiguration to hardware failure.
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and power, then try to boot again.
2. Check BIOS Boot Order
- Turn on the PC and immediately press Esc repeatedly, then F10 to enter BIOS.
- Go to the Boot tab.
- Make sure the internal hard drive or SSD is listed as the first boot device.
- If it's not listed at all, the drive may be disconnected or have failed.
3. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Restart the PC and press Esc, then F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
- Run the Storage Test to check if the hard drive is detected and functioning.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
