I get a "boot device not found 3F0 error".
I've followed steps on https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06201699, hard drive PASSES the quick test, Legacy support was disabled, so was directed to procedure 3, step 3. However, at procedure 3, step 3 I do not have the option "Look for the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology option"; navigate to: System Configuration > UEFI HII Configuration > Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology. I only have UEF1 Boot order. Where do I go from here to help me debug or fix this issue?
Thank you for help!

hi
the change of option is not enough, it is necessary to reinstall the system in many cases!

Thank you for responding. However, there is no information in your response about what to do when you've already followed all steps provided by the HP website, and reached a point where it doesn't apply to you and you don't know where to go from there.
I understand that some cases cannot be fixed, but I don't know how to determine if that is my case because I don't have a path forward to check. I'm looking for how to proceed to determine where to go from here:

sorry, but I answered you, if the system disk is not damaged, try the recovery, it is also indicated in the link
you probably didn't read the links given in my answer correctly, that's also what is suggested
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06201699
- Restart the computer and press F11.
If you cannot access F11 recovery, perform a System recovery using HP supplied recovery media. Refer to the following link for more information.
