I'm not sure what to do from here. I've tried the website and it didnt help. Laptop has done this before, it was sent to get fixed, my mum picked it up for me and it was working fine when she got it, now it's done this again.

Hello,


The Hard Disk - (3F0) error indicates a problem with your hard disk and may need to be replaced. If possible, back up your personal files to a USB stick or external hard drive as soon as you can..

The procedure for replacing the hard disk drive can be found in the HP manual below on pages 36 and 37.

Run the F2 diagnostics and see what that says. If is PASSES, then go into BIOS (F10) and change the boot type from Legacy to UEFI or vice-versa.

If those settings got changed, then the OS will not be bootable.
