When I turn the power on I get a "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key". I have swappped the primary boot device to CD/DVD. It will not boot to a ebay bootable disc or an old Windows Vista disk. I went to Microsoft to download a iso copy of Windows 7. When I enter the Windows 7 product key it says to contact OEM. I reset the bios defaults and made sure the HDD was the boot drive. I swithed the power and data cable, still nok. I swappeds out with a SSD from a working computer, still nok. While they were installed I checked these drives with PC Doctor and got a BIOHD-2 error. Any help would be awesome.

Hi:
Most likely the drive controller on the motheboard is shot.
That was a very common issue on models with the M2N78-LA (Violet6) motherboard.
