@pdegoeij -- how many minutes do you wait before you declare that it is "stuck" ?
Does your computer have a lamp that lights-up whenever there is disk-drive activity?
Is that light solidly-on, or blinking randomly? Either way, that indicates that Windows is doing "something".
Or, maybe your disk-drive is failing.
At power-on, choose to run the HP Hardware Diagnostics?
Did you purchase the computer with Windows 11 preloaded? If so, exercise the 12-month HP warranty to get HP to repair/replace your computer.
Can you reinstall Windows 10, to see if the problem can be blamed on Windows 11 ?

In the end, the only thing that helped was to put the computer back in factory settings. For some reason, it didn't come through the boot process, stuck on X:
Nothing to blame on the Omen, nothing broken on the computer. The only thing I can see that might be the reason is the latest windows updates (Dec 24). As for the rest, nothing changed at all, hard or software.
And yes, Windows 11 is preloaded, so Windows 11 is working again after the factory reset. But of course, I have to reinstall everything else that I have installed since starting to work with this computer. (3 weeks)
I will try to keep track of any issues I will cross in the coming weeks. If it happens again, I will reinstall it with windows 10.
And let me be clear, the Omen works excellent.

@pdegoeij -- stuck on X:
That is either the drive-letter for your CD/DVD device, or your USB stick, or maybe a "virtual" disk-drive.
A virtual disk-drive is a few megabytes of RAM that is dedicated to behaving as if it was a disk-drive.
The Windows Installer allocates that RAM, and copies files onto it.
But, I have no idea why you got "stuck" at that prompt.
