Microsoft Windows 11

I added 2 HDDs in the internal drive bays of the PC. That used to work fine but since some time now when booting with both drives connected bootup gets an error.

With either 1 HDD it boots properly, with either HDD and also when switched data cables: only 1 HDD works fine.

The screens I see and the steps taken to get it booting with both HDD connected  (but takes an awful lot of time)

- Preparing Automatic Repair

- Diagnosing your PC

- Automatic Repair = Message: 'Your PC did not start correctly. Press "Restart"', however, restart does not work, then

- Advanced Options -> Choose an Option -> Troubleshoot -> Advanced -> UEFI FW Settings -> Restart

Then I get the BIOS startup menu, asking if I want to reset (no) from that point the boot goes fine. BUT 1 time only, next boot same problem.

I tried in vain to: - cross connecting the HDDs data cables, switching which 1 HD to start with, reset UEFI. However, always when trying to start with both HDDs the same problem. I have tried to  swap 1 HDD with an SSD. It used to work for half a year.

Of course "I did not change anything"  (which obviously only means nothing that I am aware of) but the boot configuration appears to get broken every time, even after one succesful startup (as described above).

Can you help me?
