Hi @VigneshBsv,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error usually means there's a problem with the device drivers or the storage device that's preventing Windows from accessing the boot volume. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue.

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • Restart your laptop and repeatedly press F8 or Shift + F8 during boot to access the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  • Choose Safe Mode and see if the system can boot without errors.

Check for Disk Errors:

  • Open Command Prompt as an administrator (Right-click Start button > Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows Terminal (Admin)).
  • Run chkdsk /f to check for and fix disk errors.
  • You may need to schedule the scan on the next restart if the disk is in use.

Update or Rollback Drivers:

  • In Safe Mode, go to Device Manager (Right-click Start button > Device Manager).
  • Check for any devices with a yellow triangle or errors, particularly under Disk Drives.
  • Right-click and update drivers. If updates are not available, you might consider rolling back drivers if the issue started after a recent update.

Check for Corrupted System Files:

  • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
  • Run sfc /scannow to check for and repair corrupted system files.
  • After the scan completes, restart your laptop.

Check for Firmware or BIOS Updates:

  • Visit the HP support website and check if there are any BIOS or firmware updates available for your laptop model. Updating BIOS might resolve compatibility issues.

Reset or Restore Windows:

  • If none of the above steps work, you might need to perform a system restore to revert to a previous working state.
  • Alternatively, you can consider resetting Windows (Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
