Started receiving a "CheckSum Invalid" error notification. Desktop slow to boot and intermittently lagging after boot up.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.

 

(1) Power off your computer

(2) Disconnect power cable

 

(3) Change CMOS CR2032 battery

(4) Connect power cable

(5) Start computer and enter BIOS

- Load bios default settings

- save and exit

 

(6) Reboot and test again ...

(7) Please report your results

Thank you. I changed the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS and rebooted the machine. It seems to have resolved the problem.
